Sri Lankan Junior National Squash Champion Matheesha Wijesekara has reached the semifinals of the Singapore Junior Open Squash Championship, an elite Asian Junior Super Series Platinum event. He defeated Indonesia’s Muhammad Sulaeman 3–0 and overcame Qatar’s top player Ali Al Darwish in a thrilling five-set match to secure his spot in the final four. Matheesha will take on top seed Long Hin Larry Wong of Hong Kong in the semifinals of Singapore Junior Open Squash Championship.
