The 17th Sri Lanka Air Force Open Squash Tournament 2025 is currently underway, running from October 17th to 24th, 2025, at the Air Force Squash Complex at SLAF Base Ratmalana. The tournament is conducted under both junior and open categories while promoting the tournament as an International tournament, conducting it as a PSA satellite.
Tournament which will help Sri Lankan players obtain International Ranking points and improve their PSA world rankings.
Sri Lanka Air Force is no doubt a great pioneer in promoting Sri Lanka Squash producing top players, referees, coaches, conducting top quality local & International tournaments and helping Sri Lanka squash in many numerous ways with infrastructure & technical support.
The tournament has attracted over 400 entries, with regional participation, including players from the India and Bangladesh Air Forces.
The first ever Sri Lanka Air Force Open Squash Championship was conducted in 2001 to mark the Golden Jubilee of the Sri Lanka Air Force and since then it had been a main attraction in the SLS event calendar with all such tournaments being a massive success.
Players in the Men’s Open category will compete for the Air Chief Marshal PH Mendis Memorial Trophy, while those in the Women’s open category will vie for the Air Chief Marshal Harry Goonetileke Memorial Trophy
